Wed-Saturday Noon-6pm & Sunday- Noon to 5pm  Or by appointment.

On April 1st we will resume to normal hours listed in the about/hours tab.

 

***Party Buses or larger groups if you want before Noon on Saturday’s please call ahead and make an appointment.  We know most of you start out early on those days.  If you have a party bus or large groups, its is appreciative that you call ahead so that we can make sure we are staffed to accommodate your group.

I planned my wedding from a distance. I live in Chicago, but my husband and I decided that in order to make it more convenient for our families and to cut down on costs (a little) we would find a location near our hometown of Terre Haute, IN. Marshall, IL is just 40 minutes away, and after a drive through the middle of nowhere it seems you come across this beautiful location. In mid-October, the trees surrounding the grounds were all changing colors. The ground had dried from the previous day’s rain, so we were able to set up our ceremony outside, and then come in from the chilly weather for the reception. The hall itself is a rustic knotty pine and is spacious. We used their fireplace as a backdrop for the head table with a small dance floor in front. We had more than enough tables and chairs that are included with the rental price. The wine is great, and they are very helpful if you would like a type of liquor that is typically not on their menu. Sonya is very helpful, and I am forever indebted to her since most of our correspondence was through email. If you are looking to get married in the Southern Indiana/Southern Illinois area (or even if you just want to try some decent wine), I highly recommend Castle Finn Winery!

The baby shower we held recently at Castle Finn Winery was a huge success and due in large part to your beautiful banquet hall.  Everyone loved the wine and the atmosphere which several described as “classy.”  Although we stayed inside, the outside fire pit and patio looked so inviting and just the place to be on sunny fall days or crisp fall evenings.  Castle Finn would be the perfect venue for a wedding reception or other large gathering.   Thanks so much for working with us and making the occasion that much more special!  You couldn’t have been more gracious or supportive.

Show is Sat. DEC 20th, 6pm with Hors Dourves and the show will start promptly at 6:30

Murder Mystery Dinner theme is: MY FAIR MURDER –  $40.00 per person

Price includes Hors_Dourves, Dinner, Dessert, & Show.  Alcohol is sold separate. Last day to purchase tickets is DEC 13TH.  We do not sell any tickets after this date, because we have to give our cater a number order food.

Hors_Dourves start at 6:00 pm. The show starts at 6:30 pm.  The actors mingle
with the audience to select participants for the show. Dinner is after the first
act. Dessert is after the second act, during which time the audience votes on
who did the murder. The third act is a recap of what has taken place and the
murderer is identified.

Meals are catered by McDaniels Catered Elegance, Paris IL  and seating is limited, so reservations must be made well in advance. To make your reservation, call Castle Finn Winery  217-463-2600 and be prepared to pay for tickets with a credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, & Discover.  Or stop by Castle Finn Winery to make reservations and pay with cash or check. Many performances sell out, so be sure to make your reservation early.  Deadline for ticket sales is always the week before the event.  So the cater can order the correct amount of food.

You are free to sample our wines in the wine tasting room and you may purchase a bottle or glass of wine, or your favorite beer/mixed drink, to enjoy during the program and the meal.  During this advance time, the evening’s actors may mingle with the crowd and seek volunteers to play some of the short parts.  This is voluntary and adds to a hilarious evening when you, your friends or someone else gets a chance to showcase their talents, or even flubs.

Have you asked about our bottle club card? When you purchase a few bottles here and there, you can have your card stamped and when you have bought 12 bottles, you get your 13th bottle free! This is similar to the case discount price, but just in a different way. When you fill up your card, put your name and phone number on it, and you will be entered into a drawing to win other free stuff!

WINE & CANVAS EVENT – Sunday Nov. 9th 2pm to 5pm SOLD OUT

wine & canvas covered bridge   The covered bridge photos will be the canvas you will be painting on Nov. 9th.   Wine & Canvas event will be on Sunday, Nov. 9th Tickets are 40.00 per person.  This just covers the class.  Wine, beer, mixed drinks, pop will be sold separate.  You may bring your own snack food in.  We do have cheese and cracker baskets available to purchase.
